Being a young creative today can be a mixed bag. I surveyed art and design undergraduates and discovered a sentiment I was familiar with: when it comes to creative networking and showcasing work, many feel too intimidated, inadequate or unwelcome to participate in such events. In a field that is defined by uniqueness and teeming with competition, how do you help college-age creatives get a foot in the door?
FLUX is an event intentionally designed for the overwhelmed sophomore, the college dropout, the 19-year-old entrepreneur. The goal of FLUX is to meet you wherever you are – exorbitant workload, cheeto dust and all – and make every step of the journey seamless and accessible.
